Tip #198 - Cases With No Recent Activity Report
Occasionally, we will get a question from a SmartAdvocate user asking if there is any feature in the system that will show whether a case has “not been touched” for a certain amount of time. In other words, how can you be sure something did not fall through the cracks?
A new report under Staff Management Reports called “Cases With No Recent Activity” report, will generate a list of cases that have had “no” activity over the period selected.

The Activities that are tracked for the report:
Appointments Created, Appointments Modified
Documents, Emails
Estimated Value Updated
Notes, Status Changes
Task Created, Tasks Completed, and Texts
The Filters available for the report:
Time Frame
Case Group, Case Type, Case Stage, Case Status
Whether the Case is Retained (Yes or No)
Referred (i.e., In House or Referred Out or both)
Mass Tort Case or Single Event or both
Staff
The Data Columns that are available to display:
Case Number, Case Name, Case Type, Opening Date
Minimum Settlement Value
Plaintiff, Defendant
Status Date, Status Days
Attorney, Paralegal
Last Note
Liability Coverage

The “Cases With No Recent Activity” Report is a standard report available in SmartAdvocate, which means that you can have it automatically emailed to you (or anyone else) on a schedule that you select.
