Tip #134 - How to Create Template Bundles
Template Bundles are a handy way of generating several documents at the same time. The feature obviates the need to generate each document one-at-a-time and is generally used when the same documents are required at the same time. Some popular examples include the generation of documents that are required when a matter is first created (such as a Welcome Letter, Letter of Representation, Request for Employment Information, etc.) or closing documents when a matter is settled (e.g., General Releases, Final Lien Requests, etc.).
Here’s how to create your Template Bundles:
Go to the ‘Admin’ tab on your tool bar and click ‘Document Templates’:
2. Click the ‘Template Bundles’ tab and then click ‘Create Template Bundle’:
3. a. Give the new Template Bundle a name;
b. Select the desired individual templates from the list on the left;
c. Add the individual template to the Bundle;
d. Click the ‘Update’ button to create the Bundle
(Do not include templates that have been marked ‘Archived’ in your bundle):
4. The new Template Bundle will now be available among the ‘regular’ templates. The Bundle is selected and generated the same way you would generate a document using an individual document template.
