Tip #190 - How to Display Third Staff Member on Summary Screen

In prior versions of SmartAdvocate, the staff names in the roles of Primary Paralegal and Primary Attorney were the only roles displayed at the top-right corner of the case’s Summary Screen.

You now have the ability to add a third staff member to the display which is configurable by role. So, in addition to the standard Paralegal and Attorney display, you can now configure another role in System Parameters (“Additional Case Role to show”) and have that role displayed as well.

Bear in mind, that staff members in those roles must be added (assigned) to the case in the usual way (i.e., added in the Add Staff section of the summary screen or added to the case using Automated Procedures, WorkPlans or bulk assignment in Case Browse), before the name(s) can be displayed as explained above.
