Tip #223 - How to Change/Set the Default Font for Emails
Emailing from your case in SmartAdvocate provides the convenience of not only sending that type of communication, but the email is also automatically saved in the case file, without you having to manually copy and paste. Sometimes (especially if you are using the system for the first time) the font type and point size may be different from what you would like. Good News! You can change the default.
Here’s How:
Go to Admin >> Email/Note/Appointment/View Template
2. Filter for “default” in the Name Column (first column on the left). You should see the default email template listed and it may look something like the below (highlighted for clarity)
3. You will need to edit the template. To do so, either double-click on the grid or click the little edit (“mouse”) button in the far-right column. This will open the template itself for you to edit the contents.
4. Change the Font and Font Size as desired.
5. Click the “Save” button in the bottom right corner of the page to save your changes.
New emails will now default to the font and size as set.
NOTE: The changes that are made to a default email template will apply system-wide and are not user-specific.
