Tip #85 - How to display Total Payments made on the Insurance Page

One of the many additions/enhancements we have made with the recent release of SmartAdvocate (v2019.07.23) is the ability to quickly see total payments made by the insurance company. This feature is particularly useful for those firms that need to keep a watchful eye on whether the client has exhausted the policy limits or close to it - such as for PIP insurance.
 
We have included a new column on the Insurance page which will show you at a glance, the total of payments made by the insurance company, such as payment made for medical bills, other special damages, etc.
 
Payment Made column displayed on the Insurance Page:

Payments entered on the Medical Provider and Special Damages pages are totaled and then displayed on the Insurance page. If the Payments Made column is not displayed on your Insurance page, you can use the ‘Show/Hide Column’ feature on that page to add it to the grid.
