Tip #260 - How To Use Case Review List Feature
Sometimes you may need to review a list of cases for information that should be entered on a specific page in SmartAdvocate. Here’s Two Examples:
You certainly can search for the appropriate cases one-by-one, then navigate to the individual page and then update the information there. This process would be tedious and time consuming at best. The “Case Review List” feature will allow you to scroll through a list of cases and efficiently make those updates. This feature works in conjunction with Case Browse.
First, you will need to use Case Browse to get the list of cases you want to work with. For this process, the selected columns to show in the Case Browse results are not critical, since you only need a list of cases. Simply choose the appropriate filters and accept the default columns.
In this example, I will search for my Camp Lejeune cases (filtering by Case Type) that are in the Status “MT Qualified/Verified” (filtering by Status). |
The Case Browse search results may look like this: |
In my example, I want to verify that the claimant’s connection with Camp Lejeune was indicated (i.e., Served at Camp Lejeune or Lived at Camp Lejeune, two of the questions listed on the Incident Page). |
Now that I have my list, I can select all the cases and then choose the Mass Update function. Next, access the Case Review Feature to review the Incident Page for all the select cases.
Here’s How:

This will open the first case on the list to the Case’s Summary Screen. You will see three navigation arrows at the top left corner of the Summary Screen. The right pointing arrow will toggle to the second (next) case on your list. The left pointing arrow will toggle to the previous case on the list. The down pointing arrow will display your list of cases from Case Browse. |
