Self-appointment not sending
Q:
I’m not receiving a notification (email) when I create an appointment which I am attending.
OR
I receive an error when creating an appointment for just myself.
When creating an appointment with myself, why am I not getting the email?
A:
If you are creating an appointment for just yourself, then you may be getting an error message like this:
Mailbox unavailable. The server response was: 5.2.254 InvalidRecipientsException; … message can’t be sent because it contains no recipients.
In order to receive notifications (emails) for appointments that include yourself, you have to adjust a System Parameter in SmartAdvocate.
Please have your SA admin adjust the System Parameter below with value ‘1’ or ‘2’:
Group Description | Parameter Description | Selected Value | Action |
---|---|---|---|
Calendar | 0-Send request on behalf of organizer,1-Send separate request for organizer,2-Replace organizer with System | 1 \ 2 | ✏️ |
If adjusting this parameter doesn’t solve this issue, then please speak with your admins and/or IT persons to investigate and submit a ticket for additional support.
