How can I build an open ended response into a document template?

Open ended responses can be added to templates using the prompt mergecode.

Selecting the prompt button will display the following panel.

When you select the prompt option you will need to provide a short title for the prompt and instructions in the Instructions field for your staff to follow. Be sure that the Single Default Value button is selected to provide an open text box to enter text.
