Why am I getting MMS messages (images, photographs) multiple times?

Multiple SmartAdvocate clients reported an issue with getting MMS messages multiple times. SmartAdvocate is getting multiple messages from MessageMedia. MessageMedia investigated the issue and here is the response from MessageMedia.

If these are inbound MMS messages from a client, it is a known issue that Carriers cannot handle multiple MMS files over automated MMS routes.

The core issue being Carrier systems listen for a "confirmation" of delivery for the 1st MMS messages while being asked to perform multiple subsequent MMS message sends. Carriers are limited in this regard.
Please instruct clients to send 1 MMS or perhaps well under 10 MMS messages within a reasonable period of time (a few minutes), and let me know if you have any questions.
