About the Partner Law Firm Portal

The Partner Law Firm Portal allows your firm to exchange information about referred cases with another firm.

The partner law firm does not need to be a SmartAdvocate customer.

Create Law Firm Contact

If necessary, create a new law firm contact with the Law Firm contact type. Contacts

Create Refer Out Rule

Create a Refer Out rule. Refer-Out Rules

Configure System Parameters

Set the Partner Law Firm configurations by searching for Partner Law Firm Portal in the Group Description in System Parameters. System Parameters

View the Portal

1. Select Admin.

2. Select Refer-Out Rules.

3. Search for the firm.

4. Under the Actions column, select the Refer Out Portal arrow .
   
   

   Open

   

5. The list of cases that have been referred out and in will appear.

6. If necessary, edit the Password.

7. Select SAVE & COPY to save any changes and a copy of the portal’s URL.

8. Select SAVE & EMAIL to save any changes and email the referral law firm.

9. Select SAVE to save any changes.

10. Select CANCEL to return to the previous screen.
