Search Directly In Browser (Edge)

Here are the settings to search SmartAdvocate cases via Edge’s Omnibox. (Edge’s Address Bar)

Open settings in Edge and click the following -

Privacy, search, and Services
Scroll to the bottom (Services Section)
- Select Address bar and search

Select Manage search engines

In Address bar search engines

Click Add
Add Search Engine (box will pop up) then Add the below items excluding the bold items.
Search Engine: SmartAdvocate
Shortcut (case sensitive): sa
Cloud URL: https://app.smartadvocate.com/sa/TopSearchResults.aspx?strOCA=0&strColumnName=Plaintiff&strKeyword=%s

For Server Clients please replace “SERVERNAME” with your URL

Server URL: http://SERVERNAME/sa/TopSearchResults.aspx?strOCA=0&strColumnName=Plaintiff&strKeyword=%s
Click Add

To activate enter your shortcut then press spacebar (in the chrome search bar) & enter search parameter such as Name or Case Number then press enter to search.
