Users Permission Groups

Each user in SmartAdvocate must be assigned to at least one User Permission Group. The Group(s) to which a user is assigned determines which sections or functions within SA the members will have access to, and the level of access they will have. Users can be made members of multiple Permission Groups. To the extent that the Permission Groups to which a User has been added have different permission levels for any function or location within SmartAdvocate, the user will have the broadest or greatest permission granted by any of such Permission Groups to each function or location.

SmartAdvocate provides well over 300 pages or functions to which access can be granted, denied, or limited. The levels of access are:

Users can be made members of multiple Permission Groups. To the extent that the Permission Groups to which a User has been added have different permission levels for any function or location within SmartAdvocate, the user will have the broadest or greatest permission granted by any of such Permission Groups to that function or location.

Additional access restrictions include:

  1. Access to Locked cases.

  2. Restricting access to cases based on whether the user is assigned, as well as Case Types, Case Groups, Statuses, and Stages.

  3. Access to Social Security Numbers.

  4. Access to Contact Cards.

  5. Documents Access Restrictions by Category/Sub-category.
