Text Message

About Sending a Text Message

SmartAdvocate can be integrated with several text messaging services. When enabled, this integration will allow you to send and receive text messages in SmartAdvocate. Photographs can be received as part of a text message if your text messaging service supports this function. The number of characters allowable in a text message is dependent upon the particular text messaging service.

  1. Select Send Text.

  2. Select To from the dropdown menu.

  3. Select a phone number from the dropdown menu.

  4. If the contact does not have a phone number, select NEW to add a phone number.

  5. If previous text messages have been sent to the contact selected in the To field, they will be stored here.
    Messages from other contacts will not be listed unless selected from the dropdown menu.
    All texts in the case are stored in the Notes panel on the Case Summary page.

  6. ATTACH allows you to add files from your computer.

  7. SELECT allows you to search from within SmartAdvocate.

  8. Select a Template from the dropdown menu.

  9. Select AI Rewrite to allow Artificial Intelligence to rewrite your text message.

  10. The text message will be displayed here. If applicable, edit the message.

  11. Select SEND.

  12. Otherwise, select CANCEL to return to the previous screen.
