Tip #317 Set User Preference To Get Notifications Via Email Or Internal Message

Previously, users could only get SmartAdvocate Notifications that are associated with their case via email only. With our most recent release, you now have the option of getting those Notifications either by Email and/or by Internal Messaging.

Here’s How:

  1. Click on the Welcome User Name at the top right corner of your screen.

  2. This will reveal a drop-down menu.

  3. Click on the User Preferences option. A new page will open and you will see 2 columns on the right. One will have check boxes for the Message option. The other will have the check boxes for the Email option. Check the appropriate box for whichever options are your preference. Click Save at the bottom.

  4. Remember to either log out of SmartAdvocate and log back in, or click the refresh button in the top left corner of the page for your changes to take effect.
