Configuring Google Chrome to Work with SmartAdvocate

Full Chrome support (on Windows computers) has been implemented. Based on our experience, you should notice a performance boost using SmartAdvocate with Chrome.
You must install Chrome on your machine.

Note that working with documents in Chrome requires two components, the SADocument Extension and the SA DocumentLauncher. Both files are available in the \\\[yourserver\]\plugins\ChromeSupport (file:////[yourserver)\\plugins
ChromeSupport] folder on your server. Please follow the instructions below:

  1. Click on the Chrome Extension below. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/sadocumentextension/ofcdbngfnpdlmdligcclbkihfbahdnph?hl=en-US

  2. Click on the Free button (on some computers this may say 'ADD TO CHROME' or something similar) on the right-hand side and download the SADocument Extension.

  1. Click Add on the pop up.

  1. You must also install the SADocumentLauncher from the \\\[yourserver]\plugins\ChromeSupport folder on your server. (Below is an example on our server.)

  1. Double click the file and it will open a InstallShield Wizard. Click Next until you can click Finish.
