Client Portal - Client Interface
About the Client Portal
The SmartAdvocate Client Portal is a website that permits you to collaborate with your law firm. You can upload information directly into the case file, view calendar activities, send messages, and edit personal information.
Register
You will receive an email from the law firm inviting you to register your account and get access to your case information. Follow the instructions in the email.
You will receive a second email informing you that you have registered successfully. Again, follow the instructions in the email.
Login to the Client Portal.
How to Use the Client Portal
If you have more than one case with the law firm, select the case from the dropdown menu.
View the upcoming Calendar Activities Requiring Your Attendance.
Securely send Documents to your law firm.
Collapse or reopen the side menu.
Select your avatar to edit your profile, change your password, or sign out.
Select Profile to:
Edit Client & Case Info by following the instructions Client Portal - Client Interface | Client & Case Info
Change Password form.
Select Change Password.
Sign Out.
Case Dashboard
Select Calendar Activities and follow the instructions. Client Portal - Client Interface | Calendar/Activities
Select Messages and follow the instructions. Client Portal - Client Interface | Messages

View Your Case Timeline.
Client & Case Info
View your current Contact Info. Select the edit button to edit your Contact Info.
View your current Medical Providers. Select the plus sign to add a Medical Provider.
View your Insurance Company Info.
View your Incident Info.
Calendar/Activities
View your upcoming Calendar Event.
Events are also displayed in the Quick Look and Upcoming Calendar Activities Requiring Your Attendance sections.
Messages
Enter a message in the text box. The Submit button will become active. Select Submit.
View your Unread Messages.
View the Messages You’ve Seen.
Contacts
View the Contacts assigned to your case.
Documents
View the previously uploaded Documents.
Drag and Drop or Browse to your local computer to upload Documents.
Spare Time
The Spare Time tab allows your law firm to communicate various information that will keep you informed about your case.
