About Special Damages
The Special Damages page allows viewing and adding Special Damages.
View Special Damages
View previously entered Special Damages.
To Export the list, select from the options .pdf , .xls , rtf .
To Edit, Delete, Select Documents, or Attach Documents, select the Action icon .
To Show/Hide Columns, Reset Layout, Save Layout, turn on/off Auto Save, or choose between Resize Mode Control and Resize Mode Next Column, select the Layout button.
Select the arrow to reveal the Payment/Adjustment section.
ADD SPECIAL DAMAGE
Select ADD SPECIAL DAMAGE.
Enter From Date.
Enter To Date.
Select the Plaintiff from the dropdown menu.
Select the Provider from the dropdown menu.
Enter Submitted Date.
Select Type from the dropdown menu.
Select Sub-Type from the dropdown menu.
Enter Bill #.
Enter Account #.
Enter Loss.
Enter Negotiated Bill Amount.
Enter any relevant Comments.
ATTACH allows you to add files from your computer.
SELECT allows you to search from within SmartAdvocate.
Select SAVE to add Special Damages information.
Otherwise, select CANCEL to return to the previous screen.
ADD PAYMENT/ADJUSTMENT
Select ADD PAYMENT/ADJUSTMENT.
Enter the Claim Submitted Date.
Select Collateral from the dropdown menu.
Enter the Paid/Adjusted Date.
Enter the Paid/Adjusted By date.
Enter the Paid Amount.
If applicable, place a checkmark in the Adjustment checkbox.
Enter any relevant Comments.
Select SAVE to add Payment/Adjustment information.
Otherwise, select CANCEL to return to the previous screen.
