Injuries
The Injuries screen allows for the viewing and recording of injuries to plaintiffs in the case.Â
Structure of This Page
This page is initially populated by the quick injuries selected in the case wizard during the intake of the case. The quick injuries are listed in the injury details as a sub-table to the injuries summary table and are accessible by clicking on the Add Injuries Details button and selecting Quick Injuries. The information listed in the injury details sub-table includes:

Description of the injury
Whether Sub BP / Interrogatories are required
Treatments to the injury
Sequelae associated with the injury
Medical Provider associated with the injury
Description of the injury
Comments
Injury ICD Code
Action icon, with options to Edit or Delete.
By clicking on the Add Injury Details button, you will be provided with three options for entering the injury details, Specific Injury (which is the default), Quick Injury, and Other Injury.
Under Specific Injury the following information can be indicated:

Indication if the injury being entered is a specific injury (which is the default when opening the panel), a quick injury, or an other injury
The side of the body where the injury is located. This can be multi-selected for bilateral injuries.
Selection of a body part. Once you select an body part, the injury and sequelae fields populate. You can search within the available body parts by typing a portion of the name of the body part into the search box. New body parts can be added by clicking on Add New.
Selection of an type of injury that has been associated with the body part selected. These can be multi-selected. New injuries can be added by clicking on Add New.
Selection of sequelae associated with the injury. These can be multi-selected. New sequelae can be added by clicking on Add New.
Selection of treatments associated with the injury. These can be multi-selected. New treatments can be added by clicking on Add New.
Injury/Diagnosis Date
Date injury was established
Whether the injury is deemed Consequential
Medical provider(s) associated with the diagnosis of the injury. The providers listed have already been associated with this plaintiff as a treating provider. This can be multi-selected. A new medical provider can be added by clicking Add Medical Provider. See Medical Providers for additional details.
Additional injury description
Whether Sub BP or Interrogatories Required are required for this injury.

After all injury details have been added for the plaintiff, an injury summary can be added to the case by Clicking on the Add Injures Summary button.

Once the injury summary panel is opened, the following information can be indicated:
Under the summary tab-
Injuries Summary. This field can be auto-populated with the injury details entered for the plaintiff by clicking the Auto-populate button, or entered manually.
Written summary of plaintiff’s injuries specified for the pleading documents. This field can be auto-populated with the injury details entered for the plaintiff by clicking the Auto-populate button, or entered manually.

Information regarding the plaintiff’s confinement to a hospital
Information regarding the plaintiff’s confinement to a bed
Information regarding the plaintiff’s confinement to his/her home
Information regarding the plaintiff’s additional incapacitation
Additional comments regarding confinement and incapacitation
