Server Based System - please perform the following configuration:

Within Network

Your provider will advise of the folder on the same network they will be placing csv files for upload into SmartAdvocate. You will need to provide SmartAdvocate with this folder. Also, SmartAdvocate can create a folder on the SmartAdvocate server and submit to your provider the monitored folder location to submit and retrieve csv files. Kindly advise the route being performed.

Outside of Network

Kindly have your IT Professional create an FTP/SFTP site.  Here are some instructions we found on the internet:  https://www.windowscentral.com/how-set-and-manage-ftp-server-windows-10 

Once you have created your FTP/SFTP site, submit to your provider the following information: 

FTP Host

 

FTP User

 

FTP Password

 

FTP Folder Name

 

FTP Port

 

FTP Protocol

(Implicit FTP over TLS or Explicit FTP over TLS)

 

Local or UNC Path for FTP

 

Please forward the above responses to your provider. Your provider will configure their portion and advise SmartAdvocate to configure ours.  Testing will be done and once testing is completed SmartAdvocate will advise you to begin using the integration.

SaaS Cloud System - we will be configuring your system for you directly and advise you once completed. We will forward the FTP information to you to submit to your provider.

Your provider will submit to SmartAdvocate a report of data collected. Typically it will be in the following format:

Please note, you will need to advise us directly if you wish the information above is to be located in a different field or if the status of the disbursement not be marked paid. Currently the integration will select the primary plaintiff. Kindly advise us if the integration should select the disbursement to share expenses across all clients instead.

All case costs your provider sends will be automatically uploaded to the case’s disbursement screen.
