Backup and Routine System Maintenance
We suggest that you perform routine backups including, but not limited to, the following:
Perform regular backups of the SmartAdvocate Database. This should include your main database and any tenant and document search location (if applicable). Although the frequency and extent of backups is entirely up to you, we recommend, at a minimum, daily incremental backups and a full back up every 15 days. At your discretion, you may choose to overwrite full backups as appropriate.
Perform regular backups of the SmartAdvocate CMS folder and the DocTemplates_New folder.
Clean the logs folder located in the SmartAdvocate directory. Our recommendation is to keep at least the last months of logs.
Monitor the exception and output folder within the ScanToSA for bad scans. The exception subfolder in the ScanToSa folder should be periodically checked. It will contain documents that were scanned without barcodes or where the barcode was not recognized.
Clean completed and processed folder leaving last 15 days of documents for troubleshooting purposes.

Add Hard Disk Drive (HDD) space accordingly.
