SOLs Not Adding to Case

Q: Statute of Limitation deadlines are not adding to my cases automatically. How do I fix this?

A: If SOLs are not automatically populating on your cases and you are receiving a popup message alerting you to this, it means that the SOLs have not been configured for that case type. To fix this start by going to Admin → Case Types and selecting the clock icon to the right of the Case Type that is not generating SOLs.

From this menu, you will need to confirm that there is an SOL created for the Incident State assigned. If there is not, select the Mass Add button from the top left of the table.

Once selected, fill in the fields accordingly, making sure that the SOL is correctly assigned to either the plaintiff or defendant, or an other, more specific, role.

This will correct the issue moving forward. Any cases created prior to the creation of this rule on the Case Types page will not need to have the SOL manually added to their Critical Deadlines page.
