Add a Telephone Message
- Click on the Message button on the Quick Action Button Bar.
- The dialog box will be pre-populated with certain information, highlighted in the image below. The pre-populated information includes: the plaintiff's name and telephone number and the paralegal's name. The subject line will also be filled in with the following text:
"Call [name of plaintiff] back at [primary telephone number]"
- Edit or modify the information in the From, Phone Number, Assigned To and Subject dialog boxes as necessary.
- Enter any desired information in the Description box.
- You can add an email address to the cc field to copy someone else on the telephone message.
- The 'cc me' box will be checked by default. Un-check this box if you do not wish to have a copy of the message emailed to you.
- Click Save to finish and save the message
- An task will be created for the staff member assigned on the message and a copy emailed to others as specified. The Task will be listed in the Task section of SmartAdvocate®. Upon completion of the task, the item will be removed from the open tasks.
