Search Directly In Browser (Chrome)

Here are the settings I use to search SmartAdvocate cases via Chrome’s Omnibox. (Chrome’s Address Bar)                                                            

Open settings in Chrome and click the following -

•  Search Engine

• Manage Search Engines and Site Search

In the Site Search (Section)

• Click Add

• Add Search Engine (box will pop up) then Add the below items excluding the bold items.

• Search Engine: SmartAdvocate

• Shortcut (case sensitive): sa

• Cloud URL: https://app.smartadvocate.com/sa/TopSearchResults.aspx?strOCA=0&strColumnName=Plaintiff&strKeyword=%s

For Server Clients please replace “SERVERNAME” with your URL

• Server URL: http://SERVERNAME/sa/TopSearchResults.aspx?strOCA=0&strColumnName=Plaintiff&strKeyword=%s

To activate enter your shortcut then press spacebar (in the chrome search bar) & enter search parameter such as Name or Case Number then press enter to search.
