Text Message

SmartAdvocate® can be integrated with several text messaging services. When enabled, this integration will allow you to send and receive text messages in SmartAdvocate®. Photographs can be received as part of a text message, if your text messaging service supports this function. The number of characters allowable in a text message is dependent upon the particular text messaging service. Individual as well as mass text messages are supported.

Sending Texts

Click on the Text Message Icon to display the text dialog box.

  1. To: The name of any contact from the case to whom the text will be sent.

  2. Phone number: The phone number to which the text will be sent. The dropdown will list all phone numbers for the chosen contact, along with a designation of which have been marked on the Contact Card as being capable of receiving texts.

  3. Use Template: Allows you to use any Text Template that have been set up in your system.

  4. Text: The text of the message that will be sent.
