Your IT professional will have to create an FTP/SFTP site.  Here are some instructions we found on the internet:

Once you have created your FTP/SFTP site, provide PM Legal with the following information: 

FTP/SFTP Host

FTP/SFTP User

FTP/SFTP Password

FTP/SFTP Folder Name

FTP/SFTP Port

FTP/SFTP Protocol (Implicit FTP over TLS or Explicit FTP over TLS)

Local or UNC Path for FTP/SFTP

Please forward the above responses to PM Legal. PM Legal will configure their portion and advise SmartAdvocate to configure ours.  Testing will be done and once testing is completed SmartAdvocate will advise you to begin using the integration.

For the integration you will need to complete PM Legal’s online form with correct file numbers from cases within SmartAdvocate..

PM Legal will advise and confirm with you locations for file delivery. Emails from PM Legal with all necessary files will be sent to you and then be automatically uploaded to your cases. If the case/file number or the court does not match between SmartAdvocate and the files from PM Legal, an email will be sent to you for correction.

PM Legal will import the following items to your cases:

a.  Invoice;

b.  PDF Affidavit of Service;

c.  PDF Summons & Complaint;

d.  PDF Summons & Complaint stamped copy with file # and Index #;

You can also have PM Legal add the Index Number to correct location within your SmartAdvocate cases.

Also, PM Legal can forward the Index Number to eLaw for you if requested specifically.
