Server-Based System

Please perform the following configuration:

Kindly have your IT Professional configure Port 443 (or Port 80) on your server https://smartadvocate.atlassian.net/l/c/BkHN739r

Please email Implementation@SmartAdvocate.com once completed. We will access your server and provide NRR with the incoming post URL.

SaaS Cloud System

SmartAdvocate will be configuring your system for you directly and will advise you once it has been completed. We will forward the FTP information to you for submission to National Record Retrieval.

(info) The files sent to National Record Retrieval must have the proper authorizations set before sending for retrieval.

  1. Select Plaintiff.

  2. Select Medical Providers.

  3. Right-click on the Medical Provider.

  4. Select Add Medical Request.

  5. Follow the instructions for entering medical requests in Medical Providers.

  6. Select SAVE & SEND TO RETRIEVAL SERVICE.

  7. The Send Request window will appear.

  8. Enter the First, Middle, and Last Name.

  9. Enter the Date of Birth, SSN, and Case.

  10. Enter the date range.

  11. Enter the Authorized Email.

  12. Enter any Patient Notes.

  13. Select the Document.

  14. Select the Medical Provider.

  15. Select the Records Types from the dropdown menu.

  16. Select the Records Subtypes from the dropdown menu.

  17. Enter any relevant Comments.

  18. If applicable, place a checkmark in the Require certified records from provider checkbox.

  19. If applicable, place a checkmark in the Rush order checkbox.

  20. Select SEND to send the medical records request.

  21. Otherwise, select CANCEL to return to the previous screen.
