Authentication
Introduced support for two-factor authentication. The code can be delivered via email or text message.
Two-factor authentication parameters can be configured under Admin → System Parameters.
Added “Restore Password” “Forget Password?” functionality.
User name and email associated with the user are required to reset the password.
Password reset email is send sent if the provider provided information is correct.
Applies to SmartAdvocate Cloud Only. AddedThe added ability to specify alternative organization name for user logins is now available to SmartAdvocate Cloud clients only. For example, if your firm name is Best Law Firm and your domain for user emails is blf.com then the SmartAdvocate cloud can be configured to accept both user@BestLawFirm and user@blf.com as valid logins.

Outlook Plugin
SmartAdvocate Outlook Plugin now supports the creation of an appointment in SmartAdvocate from an invite or appointment in your Outlook calendar.
Right-click on the invite and select “Accept and Add to SmartAdvocate”.
Right click on the appointment already on your Outlook Calendar and select “Add to SmartAdvocate”.
Added ability to select “Delivery Method” when attaching email or documents from Outlook.

Top Case Search
Introduced Critical Comment indicator on the Top Search Results page. This indicator allows users to see that there is a critical comment on the case even if they don’t open the case.
If a contact has a nickname it will be shown after the name.
User Preferences
Added ability to limit notifications by the user role on the case. Below example limits case-related notifications only to cases where the user is assigned as Attorney.
New Case Pages
New Feature: Custom Template Pages. Now you can add template-based pages to your Cases. The templates are defined in a the same way as email and note templates. Custom Template Pages can be added to the case menu using Admin → Case Menu Configurator.
Assignment of the Templates to specific template pages can be performed under Admin → Template Pages Configuration
