About Prescriptions

The Prescriptions screen allows for the viewing and recording of prescription materials.

To enter Prescriptions information:

  1. View any previously entered prescription information.

  2. To Export the list, select from the options .pdf (blue star), .xls (blue star), or .rtf (blue star).

  3. To Edit, Delete, Select Documents, or Attach Documents, select the Action icon (blue star).

  4. To Show/Hide Columns, Reset Layout, Save Layout, turn on/off Auto Save, or choose between Resize Mode Control and Resize Mode Next Column, select the Layout button.

  5. Select ADD PRESCRIPTION.

  6. Select the Plaintiff from the dropdown menu.

  7. Select the Manufacturer from the dropdown menu.

  8. Select the Product from the dropdown menu.

  9. Enter the NDC.

  10. Select from the Type radio buttons.

  11. If applicable, place a checkmark in the Target Product checkbox.

  12. Enter the Lot Number.

  13. Select the Expiration Date.

  14. Select the Start Date.

  15. Enter the End Date.

  16. Enter the Dosage.

  17. Enter the Quantity.

  18. Enter the Day Supply.

  19. Select the Medical Facility from the dropdown menu.

  20. Select the Prescribing Facility from the dropdown menu.

  21. Select the Pharmacy/Retailer from the dropdown menu.

  22. Enter a Summary.

  23. Select the Allegation Date.

  24. Enter the Allegation Type.

  25. Enter the Page Number.

  26. Enter any relevant Comments.

  27. ATTACH allows you to add files from your computer.

  28. SELECT allows you to search from within SmartAdvocate.

  29. Select SAVE to add Prescription information.

  30. Otherwise, select CANCEL to return to the previous screen.
