How do I delete a contact?

While contacts can not be deleted, they can be deactivated. Deactivating will have the same effect as deleting on new cases (that contact will no longer appear as a selection option), it allows us to retain the historical data associated with that contact and lets them remain anywhere they were previously assigned.

To deactivate a contact start finding the contact you would like to deactivate and access the contact card.

Uncheck the box next to active and select save in the bottom right corner.

After this has been saved the contact will no longer appear in your dropdowns!
