The newest version of Chrome (version 107) contains some change that has broken the spell-check selection in places where SmartAdvocate uses rich text controls (e.g., notes, emails/email templates, etc.).
We have been able to produce a fix for the issue, but it won’t be possible to apply that until the next version of SmartAdvocate. Currently, the release of the next version is planned for the beginning of 2023 for server clients and March of 2023 for cloud clients.
At the moment, available workarounds include downgrading Chrome back to version 106 or temporarily switching to Microsoft Edge, which does not appear to have this issue in its current version. In the next version of SmartAdvocate, the spell-check will work normally in Chrome regardless of its version.
