Please perform the following configuration:
Kindly have your IT Professional create an FTP/SFTP site. Here are some instructions we found on the internet: configure Port 443 (or Port 80) on your server https://wwwsmartadvocate.windowscentral.com/how-set-and-manage-ftp-server-windows-10
Once you have created your FTP/SFTP site, provide Bob Burns from National Records Retrieval (bburns@nationalrr.com) with the following information:

Once you have forwarded National Records Retrieval the FTP information, they will configure their side and advise SmartAdvocate to configure ours. National Records Retrieval will provide SmartAdvocate your ID, username, password, API Code and Client ID for their services. Testing will be done and once testing is completed SmartAdvocate will advise you to begin using the integration.

Please email Implementation@SmartAdvocate.com once completed. We will access your server and provide NRR with the incoming post URL.

SmartAdvocate will be configuring your system for you directly and will advise you once it has been completed. We will forward the FTP information to you to submit to National Records Retrieval.

The files sent to National Record Retrieval must have the proper authorizations set before sending for retrieval.
Select Plaintiff.
Select Medical Providers.
Right-click on the Medical Provider.
Select Add Medical Request.
Follow the instructions for entering medical requests in Medical Providers.
Select SAVE & SEND TO RETRIEVAL SERVICE.
The Send Request window will appear.
Enter the First, Middle, and Last Name.
Enter the Date of Birth, SSN, and Case.
Enter the date range.
Enter the Authorized Email.
Steps 8 - 11 are prepopulated and are not editable on this screen.Enter any Patient Notes.
Select the Document.
Select the Medical Provider.
Select the Records Types from the dropdown menu.
Select the Records Subtypes from the dropdown menu.
Enter any relevant Comments.
If applicable, place a checkmark in the Require certified records from provider checkbox.
If applicable, place a checkmark in the Rush order checkbox.
Select SEND to send the medical records request.
Otherwise, select CANCEL to return to the previous screen.
