New built-in internal messaging has a functionality similar to email, but it is internal to SmartAdvocate. The notifications about new messages appear instantly in the top right corner. Internal messages can be case related or non case related.

Internal Notifications
All notifications that were previously send via email now have an option to delivered as internal messages in SmartAdvocate. For each notification you can select Email and/or Message option.

Document Versioning
If you want to use Document Versioning it SmartAdvocate now has ability to keep a history of document versions. This feature needs to be enabled in in System Parameters.

Note that Document Versioning is only available if Document Handler is used. So, server clients that are using Document Launcher would need to switch to handler to take advantage of this feature.
