If any of the items in the Case Group tab are selected, the items in Case Type and Case SubType tabs will be narrowed automatically to only offer those that are members of at least one of the selected Case Groups.

This is true even if Exclude is also selected. The Case Type tab will only display those Case Types that are members of the groups you are already excluding.

Therefore, if you wish to do any further filtering on Case Types or subtypes, it is not generally recommended to use the Exclude button in Case Group.

The entries in the UDF tab, if any, are dependent on what is selected in this tab. Unless exactly one Case Type is selected, the UDF tab will be blank. If exactly one Case Type is selected, the UDF tab will be automatically populated by the UDFs associated with that Case Type.

Case SubType

...

  1. Search for the Case SubType by selecting from the Start with or Contains radio buttons,
    or

  2. Select the letter from the alphabet list.

  3. Select SELECT VISIBLE to place checkmarks for every Case SubType.

  4. Select UNSELECT VISIBLE to remove checkmarks for every Case SubType.

  5. Place a checkmark in the Exclude checkbox and select individual Case SubTypes manually to exclude specific Case SubTypes from the search.

  6. Place checkmarks in the individual Case SubTypes to narrow the search results.

  7. If applicable, enter additional information in other Criteria Tabs.

  8. Select SEARCH CASES.
